St. Charles Parish Republican Executive Committee Endorses Webb Jay for Justice of the Peace, District 3

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

September 20, 2026

ST. CHARLES PARISH, La. — Webb Jay, candidate for Justice of the Peace, District 3, announced that he has received the endorsement of the St. Charles Parish Republican Executive Committee (RPEC).

Jay, the Republican candidate in the District 3 race, expressed his appreciation to the committee following the endorsement.

“I am truly honored and grateful to receive the endorsement of the St. Charles Parish Republican Executive Committee,” Jay said. “I sincerely thank my fellow members of RPEC for their confidence in me and for their service to our parish. Their support means a great deal to me.”

Jay is a lifelong member of the St. Charles Parish community and has spent decades in professional, civic, governmental, and community service. His experience includes serving nearly a decade on the St. Charles Zoning Board of Adjustment, including four years as chairman, and currently serving as chairman of the St. Charles Parish Housing Authority. He is also a Louisiana Notary Public, licensed real estate broker, property manager, small business owner, and minister.

“St. Charles Parish has always been my home,” Jay said. “It’s where I grew up, where I built my life, and where I have been blessed with so many opportunities to serve. I’m asking the people of District 3 for the opportunity to continue that service as their Justice of the Peace.”

Jay said his approach to the office would center on listening carefully, treating each person with dignity and respect, applying the law impartially, and exercising sound judgment. Those principles are also reflected in the commitments outlined on his campaign website.

“A Justice of the Peace should be fair, impartial, prepared and accessible,” Jay said. “Every person who comes before the court deserves to be heard and treated with respect. If entrusted with this responsibility, that is the standard I will work to uphold every day.”

The District 3 Justice of the Peace race is an open-seat contest on the November 3 ballot.

Early voting is October 20 through October 27, excluding Sunday, October 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
